2. The Viking ship sculpture
This sculpture named “Traveler of the Sun” is exposed facing the ocean, at the port of Reykjavik. It was created in 1990 by the artist Jon Gunaar Arnasonon the occasion of the bicentenary of the constitution of Iceland. This ode to travel could perfectly mark the start of your road trip to Iceland.

6. The Perlan
This original building is difficult to go unnoticed with its 25 m height. Perlan is located on Öskjuhlíð hill and was primarily intended to store water from Iceland's volcanoes. Today it has been transformed into a museum and has become one of the Reykjavik's must-see tourist attractions. It is an exhibition center that provides a better understanding of Iceland's natural phenomena.
